Comprising over 400 stalls in 20 barns, Big Lick Farm is a major part of the Oak Ridge Training Center racehorse community (see Center map). This superb complex boasts the best One-mile dirt track in the area plus a well-maintained 7/8-mile turf course.
Our barns are typically occupied by year-round trainers from both racing and pinhooking backgrounds. Regardless of their niche in the racing world, our tenants appreciate the unique facilities we have to offer in a forgiving Florida climate. In addition to the dirt and turf surfaces, Big Lick Farm offers access to a cold-saltwater spa, swimming ponds, vibrating Vitafloors, and three 10-bay Eurocisers. Most barns are equipped with commercial ice-makers, and there are plenty of paddocks for turnout.
