Big Lick LLC Welcomes Adam Lites as new CFO…

March 7, 2020, Morriston Florida and Charlottesville Virginia: Big Lick LLC today announced that effective March 9, 2020, Adam Lites will be joining the senior management team as Chief Financial Officer. Lites will be responsible for the financial management and oversight of the various Big Lick businesses including logistics and trucking, equestrian resort, property management and other businesses.

He joins Big Lick from Resolute Forest Products Inc., located in El Dorado, Arkansas. Resolute operates pulp, paper and wood product facilities in the United States and Canada. During his successful tenure at Resolute, and their predecessor, Conifex USA Inc., Lites had financial accountability for multiple mills as well as trucking and timber management support operations. In his capacity as Divisional Controller for US Operations, he was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis.

Lites brings to Big Lick nearly 20 years of professional financial experience working for large multi-national companies, a leadership style rooted in integrity, and a driven, common sense approach to decision-making and problem resolution. He is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas.
