Big Lick Stall Rental is uniquely situated on 220 acres at Florida’s premier training facility – Oak Ridge Training Center.  Big Lick Stall Rental offers 23 barns with over 450 stalls, giving our customers access to incredibly well-maintained grounds, innovative equipment, and a calm, quiet environment, perfect for breaking and training Thoroughbred racehorses.

One-Mile Dirt Track

Big Lick Stall Rental provides access to the superb dirt track at Oak Ridge Training Center. This one-mile sand and clay mix track is meticulously maintained to create an ideal surface for training racehorses. The track is open Monday through Saturday and is illuminated with LED lamps to allow for longer training hours.

At Oak Ridge, both dirt and turf horses can train at the same facility. Our world-class turf course is impeccably maintained and is fertilized twice yearly to ensure soil composition is perfect for new growth.

Stabling

Our state-of-the-art barns are outfitted to ensure your horses are safe and comfortable. Each stall is equipped with a fly spray system, rubber mats, double walls between stalls, clay flooring, windows, and premium stall grates. Other barn amenities include:

  • Climate-controlled tack rooms
  • Paddocks with automatic waters
